So you want to be a zombie for halloween, but don’t know how?

You may be thinking you want to buy a Halloween costume, and this is easy to do. Zombie costumes are great, but why spend loads in a store when you can buy one easily and quickly online? And zombie halloween costumes are really popular too – I see loads of people dressed up as them every halloween.

You probably have most of the accessories already for good zombie halloween costumes, and a zombie costume can be purchased for a few dollars. Want it to be authentic? All you need is some extra old clothing you don’t mind ripping up, some makeup, fake blood, and dirt.

Now, get a picture of a zombie in your mind and keep reading for more awesome tips! First, an important part of looking like a zombie is appearing really disheveled. Next, rub some dirt all over yourself. Your hair should be messy, maybe even a little greasy. Zombies don’t take showers. A little hair gel , especially a colored one, will help you achieve this look. Use more than you think you need and then do a little bit of teasing until a bird could nest in your hair. Now you’re good to go.

You also need fake blood for your zombie halloween costumes. Remember, Zombies don’t use napkins when they bite your arm off. Do a Google search to find some recipes. You can also find fake blood online, or just smear some dark red lipstick around your mouth. Some stores usually carry fake blood around Halloween time, and sometimes you can find it at Wal-Mart or the dollar store. Smear a little fake blood on your clothing also, and give yourself a couple of combat wounds.

Next comes the complexion. Zombies tend to have a ghostly pallor since they didn’t get much sun in their caskets. White or very light zombie makeup all around the face and neck should do the trick well. Dark eyeliner can help make your eyes look a little more Zombie Adult Costumefrightening. Darken those dark circles with some dark purple eye shadow. Make it look like you haven’t slept in, oh, say…ten years and your zombie costume should be looking good. The final, and most important part of looking like a zombie, are your mannerisms. Roll your head to the side a little and let your tongue hang out. Stiffen your body movements and hold your arms out in front of you like you are grasping for your next meal. Moan and groan a little and stare blankly out into space. Chase after the living – but don’t run. Shuffle toward them at a pace that would make your grandma proud.
